Established in 2006 to make compelling and thought provoking documentaries with an emphasis on humanity, the environment and issues of significant public interest, Fact Not Fiction Films combines this passion and skill with high-end technical camera equipment to produce films of a superior broadcast standard.

Our Fact Not Fiction | In Focus strand is our unique strand of not-for-profit documentary films. It merges the needs of charities with the viewers desire to discover the work and passions of high profile individuals who make a difference in society.

2010    Little Victorian Secrets - 26 / 52 minutes    

This documentary features a little miniature doll world themed on the English 19th century Victorian time. Created from the vision of one man and the craftsmanship of over 200 people the miniature world comprises of over 80 different rooms and exterior scenes spanning many meters ­ or miles in the doll world. Little Victorian Secrets is a compelling story of the utmost craftsmanship, of a devotion to detail and little things.

‘Welcome Aboard Toxic Airlines’ tells the very real and ongoing story of the air passengers and crews breathing becoming contaminated with carcinogens and neurotoxins and the serious health and flight safety consequences which are occurring around the world on commercial aircraft as a consequence of these exposures.


2008    Flying Sheilas - 60 or 77 mins   

'Flying Sheilas' is a unique documentary about 8 Australian female pilots, depicting their extraordinary flying careers and the visual spectacle of where they were fortunate enough to live and work in Australia. These fascinating pilots, many household names, talk about their experiences and their input to Australian aviation history.


2010    Hayley Westenra On Tour In Northern Ireland - 52 minutes    'In Focus'

'Hayley Westenra on tour in Northern Ireland' is an amazing insight into Hayley Westenra's tour of Northern Ireland. Interviewed by the young singer Kate Garbutt, Hayley shows what its like to be on tour in Northern Ireland by giving a unique insight into the life of an international star, before, during and after her concerts. All profits from the film are to go to the UNICEF Playpumps project.

The indepth story of one extraordinary pilot who lost her career and health to what many say is aviation's biggest cover up and her amazing quest for answers and change.

2010    Bear Serenade - 26 minutes (In post production phase)    'In Focus'

This documentary explores the adventures of Fiona Pears as she talks about her life as an internationally acclaimed concert violinist from Christchurch, New Zealand and her work for the WSPA. Fiona visits the Romanian Bear Sanctuary to find out about the bears, the people who dedicate their lives to helping them and the incredible work that goes on there.


2010    Broken Wings - In production
'Broken Wings' is the story of the human legacy that many associate with their encounter with the BAe 146 jet aircraft. The BAe 146 is a medium-sized commercial aircraft which first flew in 1981 and was manufactured by British Aerospace from 1983 until 2002. ‘Broken Wings’ looks at the aircraft history and how it became the subject of a Australian Senate investigation.

2008    The Cornshed - 20 minutes    'In Focus'   

‘The Cornshed’ is the amazing story of Judy Kitching and the annual charity concerts she and her family have arranged since 1986 to raise money for charity. Initial concerts were for the I.T.U at Middlesbrough General Hospital whose staff had tried to save Judy’s husbands life in 1985. Recently the wonderful and successful evenings have helped raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.


Committee on Toxicity (COT) Independent? - Pre production
'Committee on Toxicity' is a documentary being made about 'The Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals in Food, Consumer Products and the Environment (COT)' that is said to be, 'an independent scientific committee that provides advice to the Food Standards Agency, the Department of Health and other Government Departments and Agencies on matters concerning the toxicity of chemicals.'
