Fact Not Fiction Films has confirmed that their upcoming short film ‘Missing a Note’ has welcomed professional Cinematographer, Donna Wade, to the team. Donna graduated from the prestigious National Film and Television School with an MA in Cinematography in 2017, and has since shot numerous short films, music videos and commercials. Donna is originally from Northern Ireland but lives and works in London. She is a member of Illuminatrix Rising, a collective group of emerging female cinematographers based in the UK.

Following a number of location viewings, Fact Not Fiction Films has confirmed the film will be shot locally at the beautiful Sedgwick Park House and Farlington School. Sedgwick Park House is a privately owned home, set within 100 acres of rolling Sussex countryside. This stunning location will act as a perfect backdrop for ‘Missing a Note’, and will act as the home of renowned opera singer, John O’Connell. Farlington School is a private girls school set within 33 acres of beautiful parklands on the borders of Sussex and offers a perfect setting for the character of Molly attending school.

Director, Beth Moran said:

“We are very excited to have Donna Wade on board to shoot ‘Missing a Note’. She’s an exceptional talent and I’m looking forward to working closely with her. As far as the locations go, we are extremely lucky to be able to film ‘Missing a Note’ in such beautiful venues as Sedgwick House and Farlington School! And of course being local to Horsham feels all the more special.”

Producer, Tristan Loraine commented:

“As a company it’s great to be going back to film at two wonderful locations which we have filmed at before with two of our previous feature films: ‘31 North 62 East’ and ‘A Dark Reflection’.”

Any profits generated will go towards Alzheimer's and Dementia research.
